A couple of things

Listen up, motherfuckers.

For future wars, we are going to need an official team. The other admins and I will begin compiling a list of Heavens Duel Academy's top duelists. To make a nomination, please send me a private message titled "Top Duelist Nomination," with a list of duelists who you believe should be considered for this list. You may not nominate yourself.

Additionally, I have noticed that most of our members seem opposed to allowing the use of meta decks in our wars, citing the reason that their presence severely limits freedom in deck building choices, and that their ease of use is a poor assessment of one's ability as a duelist and a deckbuilder. Post in this thread whether you believe that I should ban meta decks for future wars (this decision will not effect our current war with VDA).

PLEASE ban meta decks. because geargia is a bitch, and pretty soon, it'll be the only deck people use in wars. I'd love to use other decks, but I can't because when you hear "their entire academy uses geargia", it limits you to what decks you can use if you even want to hope to win duels. especially in this current war with vda. Our duelists use lesser decks, which get fucked over by geargia, and makes dueling less enjoyable for them, and makes them not want to participate in wars and such. Banning meta decks will force people to actually use strategic decks, instead of the "1 + 1 + 1 + 1" system that geargia runs on

I agree with aelita because most meta decks don't take skill and gives people a head of you so I think non meta decks would show people skills and how they do in a stressful situation.

Not sure if many other academies will agree to wars without meta but ok.

then itll just show that many other academies arent skilled enough to play without meta decks

and besides if the academy have skilled duelist no meta decks shouldn't be a problem.

That's really the only issue I can identify, but it's either we do this, or we start all running Geargias and Mythic Rulers.

Ban the meta or allow exodia lolz

After using Geargia, I reinforce my arguement to ban meta. Geargia left little to no weakness, the only issue I ran into being my opponent bringing stronger monsters out and dealing heavy damage before I could do so. Simply banning geargia though will just have our war's end up using the other meta decks, which is why we must ban those as well. Geargia is simply too strong for an enjoyable war to be had.

Maybe we could just establish with the other academy if we're using meta or not and let them decide. That way, everyone's clear.

Correction, we can establish if were using geargia or not. because, like I've said, I ve found very little one can do against a geargia deck.
