quitting this format good or bad?
hello my fellow yugioh players here at duel academy im your host with the host with the most yugioh1996 or as i call my self in my youtube videos averylr32.
i wanted to talk to you guys today about quitting this current format in yugioh is it a good thing or a bad thing?
in the end it is all your decision personally for me i dont want to have to deal with e dragons spellbooks etc. so i have gone to selling a bunch of cards to my locals in order to make some good amount of cash hence why im selling my big eye ( tried to get 100 out of it but since it seems like im not ill take the 77 my locals will give me.)
on top of that if your making money now by selling cards etc. then your being prepared for next format when the next tier one deck comes out you have the money to invest in that deck. i already have over 400 bucks in cash from my locals just by selling them cards and by my calculations if i can get at least 100 out of them by selling them cars every wekk ill easily have over 1000 bucks for next format and ill be able to afford any deck which is why im almost tempted to pick up fire fist bears right now considering they are only going for 20 a pop.
if you want to stick around this format with anything not evilswarm e dragon and spellbook more power to you but if your not running those top 3 decks your going to have a very hard time against them some could aruge gadgets but imo they arent excatly on the high teir list i mean its gadgets after all lol. same goes for chain burn those players get wrecked by EEV so there isnt even any point in those players playing this format they might as well sell away cards and wait till next format. now you may be thinking well avery i dont wanna just make money i wanna go to locals to well by all means knock your slef out i havent been to a locals in god knows how long for the simple fact that i had finals at school and ive been on sdummer break with better things to do so if you want to go to a locals go right ahead no skin off my bones.
other than that leave me your feedback on what you think bout this format have you quit and gone to selling stuff or do you still play in hopes of beating e dragons other than that i will see you guys in my next article peace!

I don't think people should quit this format. This happens every ban list. People complain about the top tier decks when there will always be a top tier deck in every format. First it was wind-ups, and inzektors, now its e-dragons and spellbooks. People need to get over it. It's apart of the game and will always be.
I am all for what you are doing yugioh. Selling yugioh cards for next format is a really good idea and an easy way to make money.

It's new decks. Of course new decks are going to be topping as always because of the fact there isn't anything stopping them from reaching their full potential. But I do agree on your approach to selling your cards for the next format! Nice idea

Yep exactly. There are alot of cheap decks out there that can compete with the meta and Dark worlds are definitely one of them.

Sell them on ebay or on Amazon they some times take your cards and give you money depending on how much they have of the card. And i actually have pretty good luck but not to where i pull secrets out of packs but i usually pull like ultras or ultimate

Never good at selling, good at trading mind. Traded a proto cyber dragon (the 1100 atk one) for a blue eyes ultimate dragon and blue eye shining dragon...Good times
