Spellbooks Or Mermails?

Ok so I have decided to either make Prophecy Spellbooks or Tidal Mermails
What do you guys suggest overall keep in mind:
Budget
Consistency
Statistics on whose topping
And Preference

you should make evilswarm because its cheaper then both and does better then both

Six Sam this format succcccckkkkk so muchhhhhhhh since gateway is banned and shi'en is limited so no way and even if it wasn't it has no chance against some of the decks ppl use in my locals. Mainly people use fire fist there but some dragon rulers and evilswarm. 1 spellbook user and 2 mermail users. Gotta stay aware of the competition.

not really JD. Spellbooks just need timing and they have a better nuker (that is a word now xD) than even u lol. World Of Prophecy only has to reveal 4 spellbooks 2 of which u can add from the grave when u ss it using temperance. So yea lol and Priestess is always there to pop a lot of things up lol so lol

Six Sams vs Spellbooks.

Six Sams would win easily. Now, Six Sams can pretty much go off every first turn they have. Spellbooks sometimes have to wait a turn or two before they can go off.

spellbooks can easily overpower six sams. Spellbooks just take one turn then usually set up for an OTK the next turn. In spellbooks if u make a mistake ur punished severly whereas mermails just give you too many choices and options. With that said spellbooks are pretty linear but if this two were to have a match duel and the hands were fair then spellbooks could possibly take game from mermails. Since running cards like D.Fissure shits on mermails whereas it only affects spellbooks. Thunder King Rai Oh is a common side against both decks. So yea lol stopping inherit special summoning lol

Haha, that's a fair point I just feel six sams are better than spellbooks this format, just my personal opinion as since I have been playing on DN since the last ban list I have seen no one play spellbooks and a lot of people play six sams

Both decks suck. Mermails are bad but they're the higher of the two.

Not opinion it's fact. Spellbooks are easier to stop and/or stall. Mermails just troll a bit but still maintain control.

Basically go for Mermails because Spellbooks suck xD

spell books suck mermails are better by a long run, and as i said you should make evilswarm as much as you aint into them you said you wanted a competative deck evilswarm cheap, easy to make and is tier one and tops, is not a fact of saying it can top, it does top and on a regular basis unlike spellbooks and when i say top i mean like to 16 not 32, so go mermail but you talk about budget, you chose two decks which are expensive and dont do much

megas what are you talkin bout? Evilswarm top almost as much as dragons they are now starting to side cards like mind drain and imperial iron wall to stop dragon rulers to an extent. Now im thinking of making constellars ._. coz they are quite cheap and consistent this format. They can beat evilswarm :Pcoz ophion not really affect them lol and pez i saved a LOT of money so yea and buying dragons is pointless they will be hit next format so yea lol otherwise i would actually go for them since banning the support wont really hurt the rulers and banning the support might kill other decks and i think konami made enough money of rulers already lol.

Every Otk Deck is deadly. DONE CASE SOLVED.

Constellars and Evilswarms are too slow. Both are super sucky. I rememeber when they were the mains for a bit and they still weren't OP. I have more fun dueling Exodia.
