So I've been looking through the site, particularly through the RP sections, and I think I may just have found your issue.

The RP is dead, right? Well, you let that happen. Yup. I hate to break it to you, but whoever was in charge of this organized it really poorly. Namely, you have a section for "GX" and a section for "5ds" mixed in with the regular. It's sloppy. This is a terrible way to organize roleplays. Scrap all of that. You see how the dorms are set up? That should be consistent for the whole RP section of the forum. You need one (or more, if necessary) section of boards for OOC, and then you need a section for RP (possibly more, but it's not necessary). I suggest you structure it in such a way that you have distinct forums for present day roleplay, and then past eras (GX and 5DS). Every subboard in each forum would be treated as a location (i.e. Obelisk Blue Dorms, Ra Yellow Dorms, School Courtyard, Cafeteria, Dueling Arena, etc). Then, one interested in participating will simply create a topic for a particular scenario, or post in someone else's. I have a lot of experience with this - I know how these forums need to be structured. And remember, the focus should be on the present.

Oh, and you need a universal character creation template (with a field for which era you'll be using him or her in). Also, don't limit people. None of this "Oh, well this forum is based on GX, so you can't use your Xyz and Synchro monsters." Don't limit people. There's no reason for that. This should be as open as possible, without things getting out of hand. If you don't want to use new cards, you should be expected to use the "Past Eras" forum.

Listen to me, and RP will get more activity. Leave it as is, and I doubt there will be much more interest.

i really like this idea and yea i dont really like the RP here too just too messy so i never participate but hey its still better than nothing. Perhaps you can ask an assistant or admin since they are in charge of events and RP i believe
