That's because that was a different time, There wasn't all this effect destruction as there is today and the game was slower :/

Well, both of the XYZ just require level 4s but only one requires a winged beasts in particular. I am told that Blackwings are better as they are dark but I prefer Harpies as they are easier to get more monsters out as well as provide more control.
