Slow does not mean bad.
What if I told you "Slow" Decks are actually good? Control decks that are "Slow" Just take more time, and henceforth, use more backrow. With more backrow, they can defend and control the field easily...Anybody that calls decks like Bujins "Slow" Kinda need to learn about Backrow. Madolche control is a thing & in the same boat, said Control decks are good.....Random decktype discussion!

Actually I agree with this, however, if you have a deck that can gain control of the field on the first turn then I would much rather play that. Like six samurai for instance, can gain field control on the first turn with an average hand
Re: Slow does not mean bad.
no this is just a petty reaction to what i said, i understand everything you said but that doesnt change the fact of consistency, true the deck can search, true it can special summon, but all i meant is when your running a deck with just control it is the easiest deck to side against, i never said the deck was bad, i just said it doesnt take much skill to run, i know saying that is hypocritical of me because i run evilswarm, but all i ment was decks that revolve around backrow dont take that much skill take dino rabbit for example the deck too not alot of skill to run because it was just laggia set what ever the fuck i wish and by the way i know about fucking back row ive been plaing yugioh for a very long time.. ive ran near enough every back row heavy deck so i know what im talking about, the only decks ive used that dont use backrow are dark worlds and karakuri, but bujins are way to easy to side against thus meaning they may not be teir 1 but perhaps 3 or 2 due to consistency issues and if your opponent knows how to counter the deck which i do so i do not need to worry about bujins for my ycs because i doubt they will make it past swiss.
Re: Slow does not mean bad.
Madolche control is the dumbest thing. If Madolche isn't fast you basically lost the game. And most slow decks are bad

I agree with the OP here. Decks have always had all kinds of playstyles and although I often prefer fast, agressive decks, slower control-based decks can still be a good option.

Re: Slow does not mean bad.
If you remember in the GX formats, no decks were crazy fast like the current decks are.

Re: Slow does not mean bad.
yeah but slow decks are not good because of their title " slow" that means inconsistent or they revolve around 1 play a slow deck in this format will not do well.
